There is a funny story behind them. The gentleman in that picture really had no business being at the TV house that morning, a few minutes to 11 a.m. But at least once or twice a week, I would saunter in there, sweating profusely and take a short break before crossing over to the radio studios to present my programme. The only reason I used to go there was that it was the only room I knew where the air conditioners were working. I used to trek from the Ikpa Road axis to present programmes at Ntak Inyang. And one thing I didn’t want anyone to know was that I trekked. I have always refused to be pitied. His body of work includes memorable performances in Take me to Maama, Candle Light, State of Emergency, Sakobi, Goodbye Tomorrow, Heart of Gold, Festival of Fire, Executive Crime, and Last Party.  Saint Obi was 57 when he succumbed to a protracted illness on May 7, 2023.
